Mass Bay RRE Lakes Region Limited May 20, 2006
By 10 AM a crowd packed the Hobo RR's "Hobo Junction" station in Lincoln, on the stub of B&M's old Whitehouse Branch (abandoned 1916). At 10:35 AM P&L S1 958 (ex-Maine Central 958) took theLimited south, with three rebuilt ex-Reading RDC1s - 9151, unnamed and lettered for "Winnipesaukee Scenic," 9154, Mountain Park, lettered for "Winnipesaukee & Pemigewasset Valley" (like the rest of the RDCs), and 9159, Ice Cream Parlor Car.
