Greenbush Construction Inspection Tour

We did another roll-by visit to East Braintree, where the Fall River RR joins the Greenbush main, noticing a newly rebuilt track layout at the junction. FRRR's outbound, uphill movements now come onto the Greenbush main, run around, and go west to Braintree for an interchange with CSX, rather than leave a standing train in the midst of construction.

We reached Braintree station, the official end of the tour, about 2:30 PM, and our riders scattered - some to go home on the Red Line, others to take a commuter train north or south, and a few to ride the deadhead bus to Plymouth.
