Greenbush Construction Inspection Tour
September 2006

Our next long stop was at Weymouth Landing, where we saw some of the most extensive construction on the new line. Originally, the South Shore RR built a deep rock cut east of the Landing, on its way to Cohasset - a major effort for 1849, with only hand tools and black powder available.
