Cape Cod Central Photo Special
Beyond the wye at Yarmouth, where the out-of-service and abandoned line to South Dennis and Provincetown went east, we turned west to approach the restored West Barnstable station, now a railroad museum maintained by the Cape Cod Chapter NRHS. Across the station parking lot, the Cape Cod Model Railroad Club maintains its layout in old wood NH baggage car 3802, built about 1905, still on trucks but with little hope of ever moving on rails again.
