The "ground support van" waited at Middleboro for two late riders who missed the train and took a cab from Boston. When one feared he might miss the Limited, driver Ralph Hawkins assured. him that it would not leave without them - the van carried all the box lunches from Gerard's Restaurant of Dorchester.
