Mass Bay RRE Visits Two-Foot Gauge Steam in Portland, ME
Thanks to Amtrak's staff, VIP Coach Tours, Epicurean Feast (box lunches), Paul Hallett and the MNG staff for a fine event. Two RRE handouts (one by John Reading and Vic Campbell) and copies of the city Visitors' Guide helped everyone envision the route's history and the day's possibilities. Arrival of Downeaster 688 at 9:15pm ended an eventful day.
