Mass Bay RRE Visits Two-Foot Gauge Steam in Portland, ME
Our elated group of 46 found a number of runby and still photo opportunities on several runs, with both engines [together] and No. 7 solo. Several of us also rode the 3:15pm Peaks Island ferry run on a crystal clear day (unlike foggy August 9!). Warm restaurants nearby allowed everyone to take care of "the inner man". Desserts (tasty blueberry crumble is highly recommended) and libations helped us to while away the miles amidst "steamy recollections" of another fine day in Portland.
