12/20/2004 - Our photo special is now sold out. Edaville will be running its last day of regular service over Mt. Urann on 1/2/05 beginning at 2:30 PM. These trips are open to the public. For further information please call Edaville USA at 508-866-8190.

Sometime next year the traditional Edaville Railroad loop will be broken and shortened so that new houses can be built in the Meadow St. -- Mt. Urann area. Join us for a photo special on the last day of operation over the original loop. Our specially chartered train will consist of traditional Main tw0-foot gauge cars hauled by locomtive #21 Anne Elizabeth, the only steam locomotive operating at Edaville.

We will leave the Edaville depot at 10:30 AM and return at 1:30 PM, providing as many photo opportunities, both still and runbys, as time will allow. Regular public trains begin running at 2:30 PM; you'lll be able to stay and ride or photograpg these runs, too.

At the end of the day you may join our group for supper at the Abington Depot Restaurant (individual settlement). Please indicate your interest in this option when ordering your tickets.

Connections from Boston to Edaville:
- Get there on your own (or car pool)
- MBTA Commuter Rail (purchase your own commuter rail tickets): Train #2051 departs So. Station at 8:15 AM, arrives Plymouth at 9:10 AM, van pickup provided. Those not staying for supper at Abington will be provided connection to train #2038 departing Kingston at 4:40 PM and arriving So. Station at 5:37 PM.
- MBRRE connecting van from Boston & Braintree to Edaville is also available (fare $15.00). Van returns to Boston at 7:00 PM.

Edaville Winter Photo Special rail fare: $27.00 per person
Boston connecting van: $15.00 per person
